Name: Cho
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral Bad
Krimzon Guard Rank: Head of Mechanics
Personality: Cho is someone best described as a snake. A sly and cunning fellow who will easily make the effort to stab someone in the back for what he wants, he's not exactly the most liked or trusted guy in the KG. Not that it bothers him. He takes insults easily and replies with an easy laugh or quick wit. His manner of speaking, polite and formal, display a man who seems trustworthy, but there is always doubt of something lurking underneath his smiles and smooth words. All about self-preservation, Cho will quickly switch sides in a battle if he feels that his current position could land him in deep trouble. Stuborrn and arrogant, he boasts (not falsely) an intimate knowledge of machinery and Haven City. He is not above making shady deals and luckily is clever enough to cover his tracks properly.
Physical Appearance: Cho is of medium height and light build. He has a rather sharp face, and a fox-like grin. His hait is black and worn in a ponytail that ends a bit past his shoulder blades. He wears glasses and his KG tattoos form what appears to be a pair of butterfly wings going from his hairline to his jaw. He doesn't wear bluky armour, preferring knee and shin guards over his high boots and a set of shoulder pads. He wears thick, elbow length gloves and a "piolet's hat" complete with goggles. He is rarely seen with out his tool belt.
Strengths: Genius mechanic, he knows the inner workings of most machines easily. He has high intellect and cunning. He knows the city like the back of his hand and can usually ditch any pursuer in a high speed chase. He is fairly skilled when it comes to smaller fire arms.
Weaknesses: His arrogance tends to lead him to occasionally pick fights he can't win. His wit can also be dangerous as it tends to set some of the less patient off. A useless hand-to-hand fighter. He is also severely allergic to green eco, thus he must be healed by more 'primitive' means.
Brief History: Not much can be said about Cho's early life. The fourth of five children, all expected to join the KG in order to gain favour with the Baron once he rose to power, Cho was the "weakest link" as his father put it. Smaller than his older brothers and lacking any skills in close combat, it seemed like he wouldn't get anywhere. That least, that was before he showed great promise when it came to constructing the Baron's various machines.
Cho seemed to be able to handle everything from zoomers to security systems to Warp Gates. This skill got him a position as a mechanic, allowing him to use technology to make up for his short comings in battle.
Not long after he was give a proposition to become Commander Errol's personal mechanic. Cho took the position, despite hating the man's guts, figuring that the closer to you are to the top, the easier survival will be.
He worked alongside Errol for years, slowly feeling his patience being chipped away bit by bit. When the Commander was blown away on the track, Cho felt more saddened by the loss of the racing zoomer than its rider. Some uspect he may have had a hand in the incident, but he niether confirmed nor denies the rumours.
Either way, after Errol up and died, Cho switched sides, joining the Underground. He had no interest in over throwing the Baron, he just wanted to make sure he was on the trigger side of the gun rather than standing in the bullet's path.
Needless to say, the switched paid off. With the Baron and Errol gone, Cho has a comfy position as the Head of Mechanics in the KG forces.
Extras: With the exception of his younger sister Liu (whom Cho remains in contact with to this day) all of Cho's brothers perished during KG duty. He seems to show no remorse for their loss. In an unrelated note, he is known to have a rather creepy laugh.
Picture: ((Coming soon, promise))
Sample Post: As much as he hated himself for thinking it, Cho had to admit that watching the races wasn't the same without Errol in the lead. Certainly, the mechanic had nothing but distain for the man- he had grit his teeth and muttered in agreement during any of the man's little fits or complaints- but he couldn't help that feel the dead racer's absence took away from the race.
Or rather, maybe it was the fact that when Errol raced, Cho knew he had crafted the zoomer his Commander rode. Maybe it was the idea that it wasn't Errol racing, but Cho himself, in a sense. When the bispecles mechanic had seen the precious zoomer he had spent hours working on go up in flames with its rider, he had felt that a part of himself had gone with it. Now he looked down at all the unfarmiliar racers with their unfarmiliar zoomer (many of which had flaws the KG mechanic would easily point out) and felt like he was just simply watching, rather that participating.
As for the rider, who cared?
The man didn't say much to Cho unless it was a complaint. If it wasn't the engine it was the controls and if it wasn't the controls it was the thruster. Cho just let the comments pass him by, replying with an "I understand Commander" or a "I'll get right on it sir". He wouldn't tell the man what he REALLY wanted to say. Too much risk there and Cho needed to stay close to the guys on top. Though it was hard sometimes.
Especially after that "Someday she'll be MY mechanic" thing! That had just gone and ticked the man right off! That arrogant prick had a lot of nerve.
Cho wasn't about to have any respect for the dead. Some of them simply didn't deserve it. Although, Errol's death hadn't been a total waste. Cho was now Head of Mechanics for the KG. It was a very nice upgrade for him. Very nice indeed.
He got up and shoved past the cheering crowds to exit the stadium. The races were just too boring nowadays.
