Name;; Sahng Merrou
Age;; Seventeen
Gender;; Female
Alignment;; Neutral
Krimzon Guard Rank;; ----
Personality;;
Because of her muscle tension, Sahng is usually a grumpy little thing for her age, but she tries her best to remain calm. Such is needed if she wants to keep her sanity in check. Especially when she has to live with that awkward little ‘playboy’ Geal. It is usually a smart thing to try to get on her good side. That way, there’s less of a chance to get a good pounding upon pissing her off. Which, of course, is something no one really wants to do (unless they’re Geal). When on that very amazing side of hers, expect to have a fried that’s as loyal as a well trained crocadog. She’ll stick pretty darn well. Then when on the other side, caution should be taken. Sahng shows no real mercy what so ever to her enemies or people she simply hates. It is to them where what really is behind the pretty little face comes to surface. Around Geal is when most can see Sahng’s most content side. Not necessarily happy, just content. Not being too much of a socialite, he is pretty much the only person that knows her on certain levels most are never allowed to tread.
Physical Appearance;;
Sahng stands at an average height of five feet and some few inches. Her built is naturally curvy with a good amount of athleticism that seems to have been worked hard into it. She’s covered in deathly pale skin that has an almost light grey fade over it. Her hair is long, reaching just passed the middle of her back. In colour, it is dark gray with an awkward tint of purple to it. The whole lot of it is very messy and held back in a bronze clasp near its end. It forms significantly well for its state around her almost heart-shaped face. For unknown reasons, her thin lips are always dry, constantly in need of a good licking every now and again from her unusually flexible tongue. Always partially closed, Sahng’s eyes are a cobalt blue. Little red crows feet dance around the irises, thanks to her bad muscle tension. There aren’t far too many visible scars around her body, but along her hands, one could easily spot the products of over working and wearing. Then along her left palm, burned in Precursor letters is the name ‘Merrou’.
Strengths;;
For her age, Sahng is actually pretty smart and knows her way around the world. She takes that knowledge by the reigns and uses it on a regular basis. Getting through forbidden zones. Haggling with merchants for lower food prices. Or just getting around Geal’s ever so fun riddles and rhymes. (Street smarts, she does it right. >:B)
Weaknesses;;
Talk about anger issues~ When Sahng gets frustrated, her muscle tension tends to get at her much more than it usually does. It can range from cutting of a bit of circulation to completely immobilizing her. Its good for when she’s probably about to lose herself, but bad when she’s trying to be on the offensive or defensive side.
History;;
(This in here are going to be left somewhat vague. I’ll have them explained later on within the bios of Merrou and Geal.)
To thoroughly know Sahng, one must having a decent amount of knowledge pertaining to her mother Merrou. Merrou was once the leader of a small group of people. A gang in the works, if you will. One would only say in the works because they were actually just a group of less fortunate people that did illegal things to get be and keep their stomachs full. Merrou had only started it all to mainly get others to do her dirty business. She had no interest getting herself into major trouble. She wanted to keep her little mask of being a charming, sweet little lady up. Sadly, that was all ruined when her workers were caught.
Five years. Completely washed down the drain. And what’s worse was that she was given away by a rather suspicious member. Some of the members were sent off to some place out in the desert. Others, locked away elsewhere within the prison. She was kept with some of the younger members. Geal, Maram, and Euana. She didn’t really want to be responsible for the younglings, but she was glad that they weren’t locked away some place where they’d go out of it. Eventually, she grew over protective of them, seeing how they were treated like they where first class murderers. Constantly pushed around, zapped, underfed. It made her go somewhat mad. That’s what lead to her misbehavior.
The guards, of course, were not happy with how she would constantly gripe at them day after day, so a deal was struck with some of the people from the other side of the prison. She was officially made into one of the many experiments. Mainly, the effects of Dark Eco as preparation for the upcoming Dark Warrior Project. Even then, she would misbehave. Often times, she tried to take down the guards or scientist, but just fail with every attempt. She was usually ‘calmed’ with a few electric shocks of the tazer staffs. Then if that didn’t shut her up, she would be locked away with some of the mail experiments. That is what lead to Sahng’s creation.
At first, the scientists thought that Merrou’s being sick was a new effect of the Dark Eco, but as soon as the hunger and weight gain struck, some light bulbs lit. They decided to toy around with the unborn child inside of Merrou. And to avoid a violent abortion, they locked her up with someone more ‘sane’. Much to Merrou’s surprise, it was Geal. She thought that he and the other younglings were still up front, but it turns out that they were eventually put into various experiments. Geal, Blue Eco.
Geal was always loyal member of the gang. Even during the imprisonment, he stayed loyal. And as soon as he learned about the unborn child, he began to plot various ways to get out. The first couple of attempts failed, but he struck gold during a good adrenaline rush and binge of stupidity. Within it, he unlocked Maram and Euana, they all assisted with sneaking her out.
They had managed to find some kind of refuge within the Precursor Forest that sadly, didn’t last far too long when Sahng was born. They tried to deal with it all, but if Sahng were to live, there were things she needed within the city. Merrou wanted to find some place safe with her there, but she probably would’ve only caused many unwanted issues. So, Geal stood up and offered to take care of her. Before they left, Merrou uttered several last few words to Sahng and burned something into her hand. She then just disappeared with Maram and Eauna.
From then on out, Sahng was raised by Geal. Nothing about Merrou was mentioned except her name, which was engraved into Sahng’s palm. She took it in as her last name, thinking that’s what it could’ve been. There were many traces and signs of the Dark Eco that was put into her as she was in the womb. Mainly in her appearance, especially as she got older. Things were hard to control, but she managed over time. Most of it is what lead to her getting that horrible muscle tension of hers when she has to force herself to stay calm.
During the rule of Praxis, she and Geal had to lay low. Especially with this thing about an escaped Eco experiment going about. They didn’t really get too much into it information-wise like they would’ve liked to. The reason behind that was because they were cautious about themselves being related to the situation.
Relief came to them when they entire mess was over and when they figured out that the Eco experiment was the well known Jak. The two are rather curious about Haven City’s hero. They want to get some info on him now that things are out in the clear.. How is currently unknown. They’re a smart duo, though. They’ll find out what they want to know one way or another..
Extras;;
To cover her awkward traits, Sahng usually wears a long coat. And within that coat, she keeps some kind of a hand gun. With her muscle tension, it isn't always good if she's all around the place, so a long distance weapon of that sort is best for her.
Sahng cannot transform. She can’t use any monstrous powers. Or even get those inky eyes. It comes from not being directly exposed, but having it put through the person she was growing inside of, in some way. But she twitches. A lot. Mainly when she’s discharging Eco. The twitching becomes even worse when she’s around the stuff. Probably makes one wonder what would happen if she were around a being of it…
Sample Post;;
Running her tongue over her thin, dry lips, Sahng Merrou couldn’t help, but to emit a light sigh. The young woman didn’t really know what had lead to her being amongst her current location, but.. There she was. The Precursor Forest. Her thinking area. Space of refuge. Happy place, if one were to will. A mystery it really was. In most cases, the former experiment preferred to stay within that ratty ‘home’ of hers that was located in Haven City’s residential area. The Red Zone. Not that god-forsaken forest. Despite all of that, Sahng did have to admit that there was always an air of comfort she was surrounded by the earthy smells and sights of greenery.. It always gave her such pleasurable thoughts, images of what would’ve- could’ve been her mother. Sadly, all she could really get were a set of cobalt eyes, identical to her own. And long, raven hair. With that was a voice. It flowed smoothly and steadily, like a running stream or leaves on the wind.
Twitch. Flick. Surge. Sahng hissed as small volts of Dark Eco ran along the contours of her left hand. She pulled it into a fist, slowly raising it up to eyes view. Opening the fist, blue hues stared down at the pale, Eco burned palm. Merrou… She read over the Precursor letters that were etched into her skin. Never forget me, Sahng. Never forget your mother Merrou.. Twitch. Surge. One last volt, significantly stronger than the others passed through the girl’s body, causing her to grunt. Jerkily, Sahng brought herself down to the ground, knees feeling weak. Her entire being her tense and stiff from the various muscle spasms that had just taken a stroll up her spine. “Today most definitely not my day,” she murmured, trying her best to recompose herself before going back to the city.
