Name: Karn
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral
Krimzon Guard Rank: Captain of one of the KG units
Personality: Karn's almost got two personalities. When it comes to his job as a Krimzon Guard, he's tight-lipped, serious, and doesn't take any crap from anyone, above or below. It's obvious that he's trying to move up in the ranks, and has thus far been accomplishing that without too much fuss. He gives stern orders and expects that they're kept, but hardly does he ever really lose his temper. Outside of the KG, or when not on duty, he's a bit more laid back, almost shy. He's never a man of many words, but what he says, he tries to make count. He's incredibly loyal to his work, and tries to instill that sense into those that work under him. Again, he's very collected most of the time, and finds that most people who work for him are quite happy to have him as their superior.
Physical Appearance: Karn's a pretty bulky fellow - not like Sig, but he can hold himself well in a fight. He has the usual KG tattoos that comes with the job, and is usually seen in the yellow KG Elite armor. When off duty, he'll wear simple civilian clothes, though always carries the KG insignia on a shoulder or on his vest... Something. He has deep brown eyes and a square sort of face - one that can easily look quite harsh if he wants to. One of the more notable features on him is that a good portion of one of his ears is missing, and that side of his face has a decent bit of scarring on it. His hair is almost darker than his eyes, and is cropped fairly short, but not so much that it doesn't fall into his face from time to time.
Strengths: He's a great tactician and keeps a cool head under pressure. He's not bad with hand to hand or with a gun, and is very good at training other members of the KG. He's also had a decent bit of experience with different rulers, and is simply loyal to the KG. No one else. That too could probably be seen as a weakness.
Weaknesses: Unlike a lot of the hotheads, Karn likes to stop and think. And sometimes that gets him moving a bit slower than some. He's not as good with the instant-decisions that are sometimes needed, as he usually finds his plans work quite well. Also, he might be good at fighting and with weapons, but he's not the best. The part of his face that's a bit screwed up has messed a bit with his vision, and so he sometimes misjudges things.
Brief History: Born to a middle-class family in Haven, while under Damas' rule, he grew up in a quiet, stern home. His father had worked for the people in law-enforcement, and so it stood to reason that he would want to do the same thing. He joined the KG when he was seventeen, studied hard, and worked even harder. It really was all he thought about.
He went on a few missions before he was sent more towards the front lines when it came to the attacking metal heads. Again, reason would dictate that he'd end up injured. In one of the frays, one of the bigger creatures managed to swipe him across the face, doing quite a number to him. His eye was able to be saved thanks to medics on the field, but a good portion of his face and ear were not.
That, however, didn't deter him from his duties, and he has faithfully served the Krimzon Guard, going on his ninth year.
Extras: Um, while he's loyal to the KG, he really doesn't give much of a crap about who's in charge. As long as they're trying to do well by the people, he's fine with it. While he might not have agreed with Praxis' methods, he saw the Baron's actions as a means to an end. Protect the people - that's what Karn has set out to do, and he'll make sure he does everything in his power to achieve that goal. Also, while he knows Ashelin is trying to do what she can to help the city, he can't help but distrust that boy Jak and his furry friend. He'd seen the boy commit overly violent acts far too often, and would prefer that Jak and Daxter stay out of Haven City business all together.

Sample Post: "Stand down, men. We've done all we can for the moment." Karn stood among many of his fellow Krimzon Guard members, surveying the scene. He'd been on patrol with his unit when they'd gotten a red-alert call. All troops to sector six, and bring all the firepower you've got. Someone had commandeered a Hellcat and was doing any damage he could.
Immediately Karn had put his men into action, leaping onto one of the smaller zoomers issued to the KG and led the way. They'd barely made it to the edge of the slums when it was obvious the situation had finished itself. A number of zoomers were now nothing but blackened piles of twisted, smoking metal. There were a number of injured civilians, and he was sure a few of them were dead. The stolen Hellcat had been grounded, and a number of angry fires burned from within. It would probably be scrapped. No use repairing something that damaged.
His men had been put at ease, but he wanted to find out what had happened. Parking his own zoomer, he immediately spotted the man in charge and hooked a hand over his armored chestplate, pulling him to attention. "What happened here?" He voice was steady and grating. "I have dead civilians, five blown up zoomers, and no perpetrator. You're going to tell me what you and your men did wrong, and why that happened. This," He threw a finger towards the injured, "Is absolutely unacceptable." His steady brown gaze bore through his helmet and into the eyes of the other officer. "Do you understand me?"
